The Georgetown Bible Church, located at 5 North Main Street in Redding, was founded in 1826. The current building was donated to the congregation by Edwin Gilbert, president of the Gilbert and Bennett Wire Factory, in 1902. Gilbert and his wife, Elizabeth, are buried on the church's grounds.
