Devil's Den Preserve is a 1,756 acre nature preserve located in Redding and Weston. According to the Nature Conservancy, Devil's Den is the largest continuous tract of open space in Fairfield County. The park has a 20-mile trail system, which is adequate for activities such as hiking, trail running and birdwatching. Hikers might also see some of the animals who live in the preserve, which includes foxes, coyotes, ducks and various species of birds.
