State DEEP and Selectmen are misleading town!
Having hunted in Redding for 30+ years I can personally say i have seen a sharp decline in the deer population in Redding over the last 10 years. The states numbers are grosley inflated to make it look like redding has a serious problem with the deer population and that just plain is NOT true!. It is also costing you the taxpayer over $400 for every deer that is being killed in this deer tick study( yea they say they recieved a grant for this but whos kidding who the grant fairy didnt give them the money THE TAXPAYERS are paying for it) yet myself who pays state and federal taxes every year and hunts legally and buys a hunting license dosent get paid a dime for the deer I harvest every year in redding. Please call the selectmans office in Redding and urge julia to stop this unnessissary slaughter of deer in the town of redding!.
