Making a positive impact within the community.

What do you enjoy most about coaching?

I can no longer play competitively so coaching allows you to compete and build from the youth on up.

How did you get started in coaching?

I started with Chris Parisi coaching lacrosse at Ludlowe when he needed someone who was experienced working with kids and had a general sports background. I then was asked to help him with football in the fall under Mike Forget and it snowballed from there. The last 5 years have been a wonderful experience.

What sports programs are you working on at the ECC?

This winter will be a busy one. I am tying in all the jobs I have into building  a better feeder system for the local schools. The idea is to introduce kids and parents to doing the right thing at an earlier age. With the help of surrounding coaches and athletic directors we continue to make Easton's scholastic sports more competitive. Strength and Conditioning Training, Tackling Clinics, Lacrosse Clinics, Pitching and Hitting Clinics. Craig Austrie Basketball Clinics.

Why are sports important for our youth?

Sports are important because it teaches kids to think on their own while listening to specific direction. We all have to work together in this world and sports is a vital learning tool to help hammer that message home.

Your best moment so far as a coach?

No team is more important than any other team for me. It is making sure that every child has had a positive experience and has improved from the start of the season to the end.

What is the outlook your teams this year?

In football we are looking to build a stronger program and start beating the elite teams in the conference. For basketball our team must make the state playoffs and learn how to play and win together. For lacrosse we need to be consistent and push through adversity.

Sport and team?

Baseball and Yankees.
