Weston, Redding and Easton students earn accolades at schools nationwide.

The following students were named to the dean's list of Emory College for the 2012 fall semester:

  • Ian Bolin of Weston
  • Sarah Cohen of Weston
  • Mackenzie Crocker of Weston
  • Evan Huang of Weston
  • Rachel Schwartz of Weston

Students must be in the top 20 percent of Emory College or have approximately a 3.85 grade point average or higher to be named to the dean's list.

Evan Weinstein, of Weston, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University's College at Florham, located in Madison, N.J. has been named to the dean's list for the Fall 2012 semester.

Nicholas P. Figliola of Weston has been named to second honors on the Clark University Dean's List. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the Fall 2012 semester.

To be eligible for second honors, students must have a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.79, of a maximum of 4.3.

Springfield College has named Kelly Haines of Easton to the dean's list for academic excellence for the Fall 2012 term. Haines is studying movement and sport studies.

Georgia Southern University recently named Amanda Macchio of Redding to the dean's list for the Fall 2012 semester. To be eligible for the dean's list, a student must have at least a 3.50 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

Daniele Caglioni of Redding, a member of the Class of 2013, has been named to the dean's list for the Fall 2012 semester at Assumption College. To make the dean's list, Assumption students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
