The University of Connecticut recently released its dean's list for the Spring 2012 semester, and many local students were among those named:

- : James Anderson, Kate Bodurtha, Matthew Bruhin, Cassandra Dahms, Alicia Fischer, Rachel Glidden, Rose Hart, Samuel Hesketh-Tutton, Alexander Lewson, Carey Macdonald, Anastasia Matskovich, Lukiana Pilyugin, Caroline Ronk, Seth Rosenberg, Benjaming Schenck, Patrick Shah, Rebekah Singer, Simrinjeet Singh, Eliza Smith, Patrick Stimola, Caitlin Taylor, Tiffany Touma, Glen Ullman, Christopher Wasko, Nicholas Wasko, Renee Wasko, Julian Webel and Ewa Zywica.
- WESTON: Chelsea Ackerman, Jeffrey Atkinson, Diana Corjuc, Carolyn Di Marco, James Gaffney, Oliver Gaffney, Carolyn Judge, Kenneth Judge, Bryan Liggett, Daniel O'Brien, Erica Palumbo, Julia Roth, Monika Sztachelski and Stephen Vento.
Rev. Augustine Kelly, O.S.B., dean of the college, announced that Andrew John Collins, a undeclared major, was named to the dean's list for the Spring 2012 semester at Saint Anselm College. Collins, a resident of Easton, is a member of the class of 2015.
Bradley David Harder, of Redding, recently received a degree from Washington and Lee University. Harder majored in politics and English.
