School Briefs: Aug. 20

Colin Cahill, of , a member of the Class of 2013, was recently named to the honor roll for the spring term at Pomfret School.

Sonya Gosain, of Easton, was recently named to the Merit List of Oxford College, the two-year liberal arts division of Emory University for the Spring 2012 semester.

The following students were named to the dean's list of Emory College for the Spring 2012 semester. Students must be in the top 20 percent of Emory College or have approximately a 3.859 grade point average or higher to be named to the dean's list:

Stephen Barna, a resident of Easton and a junior at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, is listed on the honor roll. To be listed on the SMU honor roll, students must be in the top 15 percent of their school of record.
