Step A Way Preschool is offering parents and children an opportunity to participate in a Two’s class free of charge for four Wednesdays in January and February: January 11th, 18th, 25th, and February 1st from 9:30 to 11:00. Step A Way is located on lower Main Street and is convenient to Trumbull, Easton and Monore. Parents and children will participate together in a class and see how children of this age benefit from a preschool experience that is specifically geared to the unique needs of Two’s. Included in the class will be creative art, guided play, participatory music and story time, and a nutritious snack.
Step A Way is a state licensed preschool in Monroe that has offered quality early childhood programs for over 45 years. The Two’s program offers a unique blend of Mom and Tot time with a drop off component. Children can attend one or two days a week for two hours. Limited openings are available for the second half of this year for children who are already two years old, and for the 2012-2013 school year for those who will be turning two in the months ahead. The class is taught by Bern Lewis and Mary Donnelly. Both teachers have extensive background and experience working with this wonderful age group.
