Honey and Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tasting and Pairing

Marina Marchese, beekeeper and founder of Red Bee Honey, will pair up with Alina Lawrence of Olivette, Darien, CT's extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting room, for a honey and olive oil tasting and pairing. This interactive event will be held at Red Bee Apiary in Weston, CT and will include a honey harvest demonstration and an opportunity for guests to fill their own bottles of delectable olive oil. After a tour of the apiary and educational talk on honey harvest, olive oil, and terroir, guests will gather at farmhouse-style tables to taste and evaluate artisanal honeys, olive oils, and balsamic vinegars along with local and seasonal food pairings.

The menu will include:

-California Arbosana Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Alfalfa Honey with Brie Cheese

The cost is $35.00 per guest. RSVP and pre-payment are required to reserve your spot. All guests will receive a signed copy of Marina's book HONEYBEE and a sample bottle of olive oil (included in the price).
