Grow 2 Gather - Not your grandparent's Sunday School

Georgetown’s Bethlehem Lutheran Church launches its secondyear of Grow2Gather, a morning program of Bible stories, crafts, games and other hands-on activities, indoors and out. What’s new is that parents are invited to attend and participate with their children. Atypical Grow2Gather hour might include sharing the story of Jonah and the Whale, finding fun whalefacts on the internet, crafting a whale or baking whale-shaped cookies. Past activities also includedassembling care kits for children in need, locally and around the world. Every week is different, and agreat way for family members to interact with each other. Grow2Gather meets Sundays from 9 AM to10 AM in the church’s community room at 44 Portland Avenue, across from Gilbert and Bennett and upthe hill from Kid’s Time Pre-School and Landmark Academy. The program is free and you need not bea church member or Lutheran to attend. All ages are welcome. For more information, please contactPastor Becca Middeke-Conlin at 203-915-7303 or at info@bethlehem-ct.org.
