Weston RTC Endorses Obsitnik for Congress

The following is a press release sent by John Puskar, campaign manager for Steve Obsitnik, a Republican seeking the nomination to run for U.S. Representative of Connecticut's 4th District.

The Republican Town Committee has endorsed Steve Obsitnik for U.S. Congress in Connecticut’s 4th District. 

“Steve Obsitnik has a proven track record of results,” stated Britta Lerner, chair of the Weston RTC. “Steve’s military and business experience show that he is well-prepared to tackle the big issues confronting our nation and to be an honest representative of the people in the 4th District.” 

“I am honored to have the endorsement of the Weston Republican Town Committee,” Obsitnik said. “The committee under Britta’s leadership has worked tirelessly to promote Republican values, and help elect candidates to office. I look forward to working with them throughout the course of the campaign.”

The Weston Republican Town Committee’s endorsement adds to a growing list of supporters. The list includes: Former Weston First Selectman Woody Bliss, the Redding Republican Town Committee, the Norwalk Republican Town Committee Executive Board, Norwalk Mayor Dick Moccia, Greenwich First Selectman Peter Tesei, Monroe First Selectman Steve Vavrek, New Canaan First Selectman Rob Mallozzi, and various elected officials from across the district.
