Weston-Redding-Easton Eye on the Beltway: Blumenthal on Bevin Bros. Fire

And, Murphy touts "Buy America" bill.

BLUMENTHAL: The senator joined Matt Bevin, the owner of Bevin Bros. Manufacturing, as he discussed .

"We need to rally around this company because the employees need these jobs," Blumenthal said, "but more importantly America needs these bells."

LIEBERMAN: The senator told the Associated Press during a press conference on Thursday that it might be necessary to use "the kind of American and allied airpower" against Syrian President Bashar Assad's forces as what was used against Libya's Moammar Gadhafi in 2011.

DELAURO: The Connecticut Congressional Delegation, which the congresswoman is a part of, responded on Thursday to the joint Federal Energy Regulatory Commission/North America Electric Reliability Corporation report into the causes and response of Connecticut Light & Power and its parent company, Northeast Utilities, to last October’s snowstorm:

"Some of the report confirms what we already knew—such as downed trees were the leading cause of outages—but also makes clear utility companies need to be more vigilant to ensure a debacle like last fall is not repeated. We urge CL&P and Northeast Utilities to work with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to ensure trees and other vegetation are better maintained to reduce the severity of future power outages.”

MURPHY: The congressman used Twitter to tout his "Buy America" bill:

"House & Senate transpo cmte should include #BuyAmerica in next highway bill. It's simple: our roads & bridges need work, & so do our workers"

This book really was a great read. And I bet his reading will be quite a performance too. Mr. BlackRead More is not only very, very funny, but very astute too. He's a screenwriter, so it shouldn't have surprised me to find that he is an excellent writer, but I was really impressed.
