State Senators, Reps To Host Town Halls

Republican representatives will provide legislative updates in Weston, Redding and Easton this week and next.

Republican State Representatives Dan Carter (Danbury-Bethel-Bethel) and John Shaban (Weston-Redding-Easton) and State Senators Toni Boucher (R-26th) and John McKinney (R-28th) are reaching out to their constituents this month, holding town hall meetings in Weston, Redding and Easton. 

The meetings are designed to update constituents on the major pieces of legislation considered during the 2012 legislative session and will be available to field questions, according to a press release sent by Chris Fryxell. 

EASTON: On Tuesday, June 19, Shaban and McKinney will hold a town hall meeting to discuss legislative issues with their constituents. The meeting will take place in the community room of the from 7 to 8 p.m.

WESTON: On Wednesday, June 27, Shaban, McKinney and Boucher will hold a similar forum in Weston. The forum will be held in the commission room at Weston Town Hall from 7 to 8 p.m.

REDDING: On Tuesday, June 26, Shaban, Carter and Boucher will host a legislative update in Redding. The forum will be held in the hearing room at town hall from 7 to 8 p.m.
