Paving Project Starts Friday Along Black Rock Tpk South from Rt 136
The work is scheduled to start May 18 and last about 10 days.
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (DOT) will be paving Black Rock Turnpike from Congress Street in Fairfield to Route 136 in Easton.
Work will be done overnight, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., beginning Friday May 18. The DOT says the project is expected to be complete by May 28, weather permitting. Work will be halted for Memorial Day weekend.
