Woman Arrested Three Times in Three Days in Redding

The woman is currently in custody.

A 30-year-old woman, whose last known address was in Redding, was arrested three times between Dec. 21 and Dec. 23 after getting into fights with her boyfriend at his Mountain Road residence.

According to police, Margaret O’Connor—who likely lives in Florida now—was first arrested at 2:43 a.m. on Dec. 21 after she got into an argument with her boyfriend and pulled out a loaded gun. The boyfriend was able to wrestle the gun away from her, and it didn’t discharge during the scuffle. O’Connor then began to destroy some items inside the house, police said.

O’Connor was charged with reckless endangerment in the first degree and disorderly conduct following these actions. She was released on $1,000 bond after police issued a protective order telling her not to go back to the residence.
