Video Emerges of Man Tasered in Weston

The video, shot by an eyewitness, was upload by the Weston Forum to YouTube.

The video, which was shot by eyewitnesses and uploaded by The Weston Forum, shows Jamie Gonzalez, 39, leading officers on a foot chase through the woods and around a Redding Police cruiser, which he then smashes the window of with his fist. 

According to police, Gonzalez was located after receiving two separate reports of him evading motor vehicle accidents. Gonzalez was stopped by Redding Police on Newtown Turnpike just south of the Weston line and proceeded to ram his car into the police cruiser, shaking up the officer inside. 

Redding Police eventually had to use a Taser to subdue Gonzalez.

Good Morning All Nice Job Weston and Redding PD !! You brought a person who was out of control for what ever reason down and out of Society without doing further damage to himself or others !!! Profiling HA !!!!!!! This guy apparently damaged several Police cars in a chase before this recordecd Incident. Critics --------Bring them on !!!!!!!!! I am SURE that the Attorney General will find proper procedure was being used !!! Have a Great and Safe Day !!!!!!

How is this in any way profiling?? Anyone, regardless of age, gender or race, would have been treated the same way if they behaved in this manner. This man was putting himself, police and innocent civilians in harms way by smashing his car into other cars and disobeying police orders. The Weston and Redding police did what they needed to in order to keep as many people safe as possible.
