Vandals Torch Mailboxes in Redding

One mailbox was torched on Hopewell Woods Road and three more mailboxes were set on fire on Sport Hill Road, according to a police complaints filed on Nov. 30.

Redding Police Chief Douglas Fuchs said he believes the vandalism was committed by the same individuals due to the close proximity of the incidents, which occurred on the same side of town.

He declined to share the method of how the mailboxes were set on fire, because of the open investigation.

Fuchs asks anyone with information on the vandalism to call Sgt. Peter Quinn at 203-938-3400.
