Unlicensed Driver Sideswipes Guardrail in Redding

Redding Police news, Jan. 28 through Feb. 3.

James Sidell, 24, of Wilton was given a warning for failure to drive right after he went off the road on Route 107, near Blueberry Hill Road, and struck a speed sign and a utility pole. The accident happened on Jan. 29 at 3:31 p.m.

A 17-year-old Bridgeport male was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license following a one-car accident on Route 58 on Feb. 3 at 3:12 a.m.

A Hill Road resident reported to police someone had stolen part of a fence from their property that was not yet installed. The theft was reported on Feb. 3 at 10:01 a.m.

On Jan. 30, a driver reported someone had keyed their car which was parked in the West Redding Train Station parking lot.
