Two Easton Men Arrested at Selectmen Meeting

The arrests occurred on Dec. 6.

Two Easton men were charged with disorderly conduct at last week's Board of Selectmen meeting after First Selectman Tom Herrmann called for their removal for what police eventually determined to be disorderly conduct. The arests occured on Dec. 6 at 7:58 and 8:10 p.m.

John Bromer, 67, of Silver Hill Road and Robert Webbe, 59, of Maple Road were both released on promises to appear at Dec. 21 court dates. 

Webbe ran against Herrmann for First Selectman as a write-in candidate in the 2011 election.

A 16-year-old Easton female was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor after police responded to a noise complaint at a home on Marsh Road. The complaint came in on Dec. 7 at 9:18 p.m.
