Streetlight in Georgetown Vandalized Again
Almost a year later, vandals exhibit the same behavior.
For the second time in a little less than a year, the lens on a streetlight in Georgetown has been spray painted black.
On Monday, Oct. 1 at 3:15 p.m., police received a report that one of the newer streetlights on Old Mill Road—part of the Georgetown renovation project—had been vandalized.

Last year, Douglas Fuchs said the lights were very expensive. The incident remains under investigation, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact police.

On Friday, Sept. 28 a Joel Barlow High School student reported to police someone had broken into their vehicle parked in the junior parking lot the day before. According to police, cash was stolen.
The incident remains under investigation.
