A burglary was reported at Peter's Market in the Weston Shopping Center at 190 Weston Road on July 22. Det. Carl Filsinger says entry was made by forcing open a back window sometime overnight.
Over $2,000 cash and some store items were reported stolen, according to the report.
Filsinger said a locked cabinet area was forced open to access the cash.
No alarm was set off when the market was broken into, according to Filsinger, who said the store closed at 8 o'clock the night before and that an employee discovered the burglary early the next morning, after finding a drawer had been forced open.
"We're trying to piece together the time and whether anyone saw anything," Filsinger said.
Anyone with information should call the Weston Police Department at 203-222-2600..
