Motorcyclist Operates Recklessly in Redding

Redding Police news, June 11 through June 17.

On Monday, June 11 at 1:27 p.m., a officer on patrol observed a motorcycle operating at a high rate of speed down Simpaug Turnpike. The officer turned around and headed back to West Redding only to find the motorcyclist had lost control of his bike and crashed between two parked cars.

Seth Taylor, 30, of Danbury was charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and failure to carry insurance.

He was taken to Danbury Hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
