Men in suits with rifles

On Feb. 9 at 8:57 a.m., received a call of a suspicious vehicle on Redding Road. According to police, there were two men in a parking lot on a private lot dressed in suits holding rifles. They were conducting a sale of the rifles, and were asked to go somewhere else. No charges were filed.

On Feb. 8 at 7:48 a.m., a Packer Brook Road resident reported a trailer parked on their property had been taken. The trailer was later located in custody of a towing company in Danbury, who returned it to the homeowner. The case remains under investigation.

Jennifer Gray, 36, of Bethel was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license following a motor vehicle stop on Redding Road on Feb. 10 at 1:01 p.m. She was released on a written promise to appear at a Feb. 23 court date.

Disorderly conduct

A 46-year old man, who lives on White Birch Road, was charged with disorderly conduct after getting into a verbal dispute with his sister-in-law on Feb. 6 at 7:34 p.m. The man was released on the scene to appear in court the next day.
