Man Bites Another Man's Finger During Bar Fight

A man was arrested after allegedly biting a fellow bar patron on the finger during a fight at a restaurant in Monroe. Police said he told officers that someone touched his girlfriend inappropriately, so he slammed his pool cue over the table and lunged toward him, only to be brought down to the floor by other patrons. He said he didn't know what happened because he was being taken down, but knew he bit someone, according to police.

Monroe police arrested a man for road rage after he allegedly cut off a woman he had been driving behind on Main Street, because her stopping to allow another motorist to turn into Duchess angered him. He then got out of the car and started yelling at the woman, according to police, who said the man also flipped off another man who drove around them and smacked his windshield, cracking it as he went by.

Trumbull Police nabbed another suspect in the robbery of People's United Bank from 2011.

The man is charged with conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery in connection with the 2011 robbery of People's United Bank on White Plains Road.

Police said he was a passenger in a car with two other suspects.

Also, police said a man gave officers false information regarding the theft of a car from Bow Tie Cinemas in Trumbull in June 2012. Police said he used his pickup truck to tow the car. He was charged with receiving stolen goods.

Westport police arrested a teenager after an officer pulled her over for having illegal tinted windows and detected the scent marijuana in her vehicle while speaking with her, according to an arrest report. The 18 year old allegedly attempted to hide the bag of marijuana "down her pants," police said.

A 34-year-old mother was arrested after she allegedly left her four-year-old son in the car while she went tanning in Westport. Temperatures were in the 20’s, police said.
