Hospital Records Lead to a DUI Arrest in Easton

A search and seizure warrant for medical records led to a drunk driving arrest stemming from a one-car crash on Route 59 in Easton on July 28.

Jessica Timm, 32, of Pepper Street in Monroe turned herself in on a warrant Monday. She was charged with operating under the influence and failure to drive right and released on $20 bond for an Oct. 29 court date.

On July 28, police responded to the call of a car in the woods at 6:50 p.m.

Police said officers determined that Timm lost control of her vehicle, struck and cracked a utility pole and veered off the roadway. Before Easton EMS took her to St. Vincent's Medical Center for treatment of her injuries, police said officers smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath.
