Easton Road Rage Incident Results in Arrest

A road rage incident, which began in Redding and finished in Easton, resulted in the arrest of two Monroe men on Monday, March 26. 

According to , the incident between two men — James McDarby, 48, and Scott Murry, 47 — started as one was driving a dumptruck and the other began shouting at him in the middle of the road. The motorists continued down Black Rock Turnpike into Easton, and then got into an altercation on Route 59.

Both were issued misdemeanor summonses for breach of peace and were released on promises to appear at April 10 court dates.

On Saturday, March 24, a Morehouse Road resident reported someone had called wanting to meet them to give them $6 million of lottery winnings. The catch? The resident needed to give that person $500 for processing. Monroe Police reported similar phone calls.
