Easton Police Respond to Roaming Horse, Donkey

Easton Police news, Oct. 15 through Oct. 21.

Easton Police responded twice last week to reports of a roaming horse and donkey on Bibbins Road. The first call came at 11:31 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, while the second came at 1:18 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21. The animals were found home safe at their Bibbins Road residence, and the cases were referred to Easton's Animal Control Officer. 

On Saturday, Oct. 20 a Tersana Drive resident reported to police at 2:16 p.m. that the rear window of a motor vehicle was smashed by an unknown party. The case remains under investigation.

At 9:12 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18, a worker reported that a leaf blower and a weed whacker were taken out of a truck parked on Sport Hill Road. The items are valued at $800.

Police responded to a domestic incident on Woodend Drive on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 7:45 p.m. where a husband and wife were arguing. The wife was issued a misdemeanor summons for assault in the third degree.
