Easton Police Catch Fairfield Teens with Pot

Two Fairfield youths were issued juvenile summonses and one 17-year-old Fairfield male was issued an infraction for marijuana-related charges following a motor vehicle stop by on Mile Common Road on Tuesday, May 1 at 5:02 p.m.

According to police, the car containing the three sped off when a patrol car approached it on the roadway, running a stop sign. The officer and canine unit discovered marijuana cigarettes, a plastic bag containing marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the car.

Two youths were issued juvenile summons for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The operator, a 17-year-old, was issued a juvenile summons for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and an infraction for passenger restrictions. The operator was also issued a written warning for a stop sign violation.
