On Friday, March 30, police responded to , where a student was found to be in possession of marijuana. Police charged the 16-year-old Redding female with possession of marijuana and released her into custody of a parent.

Upon further investigation, police also charged a 17-year-old Easton male with distributing narcotics at the high school. Police said he was distributing marijuana and prescription medication. He was taken into police custody and released on a written promise to appear in court on April 9.

Criminal mischief

On Tuesday, March 27, police arrested Stephen Pomazi, 67, of Redding for criminal mischief in the third degree. According to police, the charge stemmed from a neighborhood incident that took place in December. He was arrest by warrant, and was released on a promise to appear at an April 5 court date. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
