Drug, Weapon Arrests Made at Joel Barlow

Police arrested two students on Thursday, Sept. 6 following an incident which took place at the school slightly after noon. 

A 17-year-old Easton male was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and a 15-year-old Easton female was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon after police found her to have an "electronic control device"—similar to a Taser—in her possession.

Both students—juveniles—were turned over to the custody of their parents and were referred to Bridgeport Juvenile Court. 

The electronic control device is in the possession of police, Redding Police Chief Douglas Fuchs said.
