Letter to the Editor: John Shaban's Leadership on the Field

This Weston resident says Shaban's demeanor when coaching football helps him represent the town well.

 

To the Editor:

“Coach Shaban is tough, but I like him,” to quote our 11-year old son, on the way home from football practice.

In our household, John Shaban is often referred to as Coach Shaban and the dinner time conversation extolling Coach Shaban’s leadership on the football field, exemplify just part of the reason residents of the 135th assembly district should be proud to have such a truly inspired leader representing us in Hartford.

In addition to his duties as state representative, John makes time for what many would consider an equally important contribution to society, properly developing our youth.
