NEW CANAAN: "I would not have traded being home with my children for anything in the world. I was able to volunteer in the community, at church and in their schools. I'm not saying that working moms are doing anything wrong, I admire them for being able to juggle so much and still be great parents. As a stay-at-home mom, I never minded lending a helping hand to a mom who had to work, perhaps by driving their kids to or from an activity, or any other way that I could. We are a community and we all need to support each other. Those working moms were perhaps able to contribute more to the community in terms of money, and I gave my time.
