As many of you know, I have been actively campaigning for the Board of Assessment Appeals in Weston. I am honored to be involved and I am grateful to my neighbors and friends for their time and attention. I also wanted the opportunity to outline the responsibilities of the Board and the commitment on the part of the candidates. Since my inception to the Board, my colleagues and my political affiliation have not been actively known. I am telling you this to wholeheartedly assure you that the Board of Assessment Appeals is a bipartisan board made up of your neighbors with no political agenda and with the ethos to act as an intermediary between the town Assessor and the courts. We are offered as a service to you as taxpayers at no cost to you. I speak for the others on the Board when I say we are all interested in helping our Town and our neighbors and are responsible and mindful of both needs. There is no place for a political agenda. We respect each other as informed citizens and truly enjoy our contribution to Weston. I hope when you vote on November 5, you vote for the best candidates, regardless of their political affiliation. I look forward to many more years serving this wonderful community.
