Football Played On A Baseball Field?

There are several fields at JBHS that can be used for football practices, why do they continue to use the baseball outfield? I was told that they can't use the field near the bleachers because it gets to wet. I looked at that field today, and it was as dry as a bone. There is the field on the left as you come up the JBHS driveway, which was vacant today as well. There is the soccer field which from what I have been told does not get much use. I looked at the outfield today, it is torn up and in poor condition in several areas. I also understand that the team can't practice on the actual football field because it is a considered a "Use Field" (Game Field). If I am not mistaken, isn't the outfield on the baseball field a "Use Field" (A Field For Games)? Last year several dedicated parents invested quite a bit of time to completely refurbish the infield, which now looks great (Not to mention money that was invested). I would hope that the powers that be can look further into this and come to a sensible solution to keep the outfield in top condition as well. Sincerely, Curtis Lindner, 18 year resident
