Deer sharpshooting redding!

White  Buffalo Violations  3/26/14  in Redding, CT
Redding, Ct.   White Buffalo, Inc. broke another DEEP regulation on  3/26/14  by killing and removing a deer 210 feet ( 70 yards ) inside of Top Stone Park, Redding, CT.  The deer was shot from 19  Top Ledge Road in Redding. The CAES ( Connecticut Agriculture Experiment Station ) is not authorized to shoot or remove deer from the Town of Redding municipal land. CT DEEP law enforcement was notified of the violation and responded to conduct the investigation. DEEP officers were very helpful, but within an hour received a phone call and were informed that it was a wildlife issue and to not take a report.  DEEP wildlife has shown blatant  disregard for enforcement of the regulations and rules they themselves have written regarding White Buffalo taking of deer. The CT DEEP by making up new provisions and expanding areas as they go, particularly without informing the public or interested parties, must cease. This procedure must be considered a serious Public Safety violation. It appears to many the CT DEEP Wildlife Division is now acting as their own legal and law enforcement authority in regard to dealing with White Buffalo and the Integrated Tick Management study.                                                  White Buffalo Shooting Outside of ITM Test Site      Redding, Ct.  The ITM CDC tick test site known as The White Birch Road site is one square mile in area.  The CAES which controls the test for the ITM test has recently ( 3/1/14 ) moved the one square mile test site by  2,578  feet ( 1/2 mile ) to the West of its original  2012 / 2013  position.  By doing this the test site has increased in size by  340  new acres. The test site was also moved 200 feet to the South and by doing this the site was increased by 66 new acres. The White Birch Road test site is now  406  new acres or + 63%  larger than its original size that the CT  DEEP had originally approved.  It would seem that the CAES ( Connecticut Agriculture Experiment Station ) which controls the study will not only move the ball in the middle of the game, but will also move the playing field to suit their needs to kill more deer.  The explanation for this is simple, White Buffalo has killed most of the deer in the original White Birch Road test site and they have now expanded it by 1/2 mile West to kill more!      By moving their test area to Top Ledge Road, White Buffalo and the CAES have broken another CT DEEP special permit regulation. WB has killed ( ? ) deer on Top Ledge Road and should be held accountable.
