... stop property tax increases ... Redding, CT!

Reversing 20 plus years of uniterrupted property taxe increases, which now is drastically affecting real estate values and Redding’s appeal as well as negatively impacting our day-to-day lives, is hard work and requires constant vigilance!

Please talk to your neighbors and friends and ask them to sign the petition to stop property tax increases for fiscal year 2014 – 2015:

Petition: http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/no-property-tax-increase-1

They are plying politics and deception with the budget right now, so don’t hesitate to callJulia Pemberton (D) Redding’s new First Selectman at: 203 938-2002 and tell her what you think!  Tell her what you think!

And thanks to everyone who has written great comments on the petition!  If you have additional comments or want to post more relevant comments, there are several places where I encourage you to do so:

1.     Redding News  - at the bottom of any article you will find the comment section … use it!

2.     http://weston-ct.patch.com/boards/opinion?content_subdomain=weston-ct write articles and post comments!

3.     https://www.facebook.com/ReddingCT post comments!

4.     And of course you can write The Redding Pilot a “letter to the editor” at: thereddingpilot@gmail.com (300 words max)

Remember, these places don’t share information so you have to write each one separately.

If we don’t act and stay informed, they will continue to increase your property tax and, as Redding Police Academy has been doing for at least 14 years, service their professional and personal ambitions on your pocket without any regard to reality or your financial hardship.

Thank you for your support,
