Register the whole family for the Weston Memorial Day 5k and Kids Fun Run!
Can you believe that Memorial Day weekend is almost here? What better way to get your family geared up for the summer break than by registering for Weston’s favorite road race, the WHS PTO Memorial Day Road Race and Kids’ Fun Run!
The Race will take place on Saturday, May 25 at Weston High School beginning at 8:30am. Walkers will start at 8:35. The USATF-certified 5k course winds past some of Weston’s loveliest and most historic areas, and features professional chip timing, plenty of shade, water stations and cheering Weston residents.
The Kids’ Fun Run begins at 8am and will take place at the track located between Weston High School and Weston Intermediate School.

This year, event organizers Kristin Brooks and Jennifer Goetz launched a website for the Road Race at Weston5k.com. Unlike in years past, families can register their children online for the Kids’ Fun Run; kids can choose from a one-mile run, a 1-lap (440-meter) run and a 100-meter sprint.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Race and the proceeds benefit academic endeavors at Weston High School. The fee to register is $20 for Road Race runners and walkers until May 22; following May 22 the fee rises to $30. Registrations will be accepted in person on Race Day.

The cost to register for the Kids’ Fun Run is $10, up to and including Race Day.
Runners and walkers can register online at the Race website as well as on Active.com. Those who prefer to register in person may do so in the Weston High School cafeteria on Thursday, May 23 and Friday, May 24 from 3pm to 6pm. Race volunteers will also accept new registrations the morning of the Race.
