“What I Love about Islam”
Rev. Dr. M'ellen Kennedy
The Unitarian Church in Westport
10 Lyons Plains Road, Westport
Services at 9:00 & 11:00am
This worship service is an opportunity to bridge the gap between the Islamic World and the West and to open our hearts and minds to what valuable life lessons we can gain from this powerful and inspiring religious tradition.
The tension and misunderstandings between the two are costly and severe. Ali, the cousin of the prophet said, "People are afraid of what they don't understand." Many of us Westerners have very little exposure to and thus understanding of Islam.
