Playing for Change Ridgefield

Playing for Change Ridgefield 2014

Playing for Change Ridgefield is a charitable outdoor
music festival
organized and hosted by young Redding-ites Andrew Moore and
Caitlin Graaf (both Barlow graduates; 2010 & 2012). All funds raised from
the concert are given directly to the Playing for Change Foundation
:

The Playing for Change Foundation is a wonderful 501(c)3,
non-profit organization that is ‘dedicated to creating positive change through
music and arts education’
. They complete this goal by establishing music
schools in impoverished areas around the world. After Playing for Change
Ridgefield 2013 had its successful debut, Andrew and Caitlin were able to visit
one of the Foundation’s programs, The Ntonga School, in the township of
Gugulethu in Cape Town, South Africa! Seeing the program’s impact first hand
has made us even more excited to continue our work with PFC Ridgefield 2014!

This year Playing for Change Ridgefield 2014 will showcase
approximately 10 local bands and single musician acts throughout the day. Genres run
from Rock & Roll, to bluegrass to progressive jazz – so there will be
something for everyone!

Please bring your family and friends and join us for a
day of live music in the sun to support music education around the world! Playing
for Change merchandise, musician CDs, and silent auction items will also be
available at the venue.

Looking forward to seeing you there-
