Nationally Acclaimed Second Saturday Divorce Workshop- Southport, 5/10

When WIFE.org co-founders Candace Bahr and Ginita Wall founded
“Second Saturday Divorce Workshops” through their non-profit nearly 25 years
ago, they never imagined that they would be offering support to literally tens
of thousands of women and men as they struggled with the devastating process of
divorce.  Dozens of Second Saturdays have
cropped up around the country - with over 50% of marriages ending in divorce,
it’s clear that more help is needed.

In
the same spirit of giving back, Price Financial Group has modeled the Fairfield
County Chapter of “Second Saturday” after the game-changing original, in order
to help women work apart and together in ending their marriages in a much less
expensive and traumatic way.

The
newly formed Second Saturday Divorce Workshop will
debut on May 10, 2014 from 8:30am-12:30pm.  Similar to Bahr and Wall’s original workshop, Fairfield
County Second Saturday will address the legal, financial, family and personal
issues of divorce in a logical, yet compassionate way.  With the guidance of trained
professionals, participants will gain greater understanding of the confusing
divorce process in a way that can often save them tens of thousands of dollars
while helping them avoid going to court.

The Fairfield
County Second Saturday team notes, “Divorce is not easy, and we are proud to
affiliate with WIFE.org and provide this Second Saturday workshop.  It is also our hope that women go through the
program and realize they’d prefer to work on their marriages, stay together,
and keep their families intact.
Regardless, Second Saturday provides a great opportunity for women to
acquire non-biased, straightforward information and options to help them focus
on what they need to do legally and financially through difficult times.  They can also save everyone a whole lot of
time, grief and money.”

The May 10th
Divorce Workshop will be held at Southport Congregational Church, 524 Pequot
Avenue, Southport, CT, in the library from 8:30am – 12:30pm, with registration
beginning at 8:00 am. It has a fee of $35 that is payable at the door.
