Wine Tasting - Weston Kiwanis

Tickets are on sale for the annual Weston Kiwanis wine tasting evening, Saturday, March 16, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Norfield Church parish hall.

Proceeds from ticket sales this year go to the Weston Warm-Up Fund, Weston Social Services, and the Weston Kiwanis Club Foundation.

The wine tasting is an opportunity for Kiwanians and their families, neighbors and friends to taste delicious wines and enjoy hors d'oeuvres by Bon Soiree of Westport in a gracious party setting.

Larry Vavarek of Peter's Spirit Shop in Weston Center is offering a broad selection of wines for tasting and ordering with values at every price point.

Attendees may purchase raffle tickets for a bottle of Dom Perignon champagne donated by Peter's Spirit Shop. The event is also sponsored by Fairfield County Bank.

Attendees may choose which organization they wish to support with their ticket purchases.

The evening's events include a silent auction of goods and services donated by Kiwanians and the Weston community. Some highlights of the auction include tickets to Jose Feliciano’s 2013 World Tour concert including backstage passes, JetBlue tickets, and a stay for two at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix. Funds raised through the auction are used by Weston Kiwanis to support a number of other deserving local causes.

Tickets are $75 each. Contact Pam Kersey at pamkersey@aol.com or 203-454-8891.
