Dr. Glenn Gordinier is the senior historian at Mystic Seaport where he teaches for the Williams College maritime studies program. Professor Gordinier is on the faculty of the University of Connecticut, Avery Point, and his recent book, "The Rockets' Red Glare, the War of 1812 and Connecticut," is the basis for the presentation.

This book really was a great read. And I bet his reading will be quite a performance too. Mr. Black…Read More is not only very, very funny, but very astute too. He's a screenwriter, so it shouldn't have surprised me to find that he is an excellent writer, but I was really impressed.
