Edward Steichen and Paul Caponigro--Seeing the Redding Landscape

On Sunday, January 27th, 3 pm at the library, David Heald, director of photographic services at the Guggenheim Museum in New York, will present “Edward Steichen and Paul Caponigro-Seeing the Redding Landscape,” featuring the work of these two giants of 20th century photography.  Mr. Heald plans to focus on the fact that both of the men lived and worked in Redding, but will show work from all phases of their careers, including fascinating brief video clips of each of the two photographers.  He'll end with a question and answer session.  Admission is free, light refreshments will be served and though not required, a reservation is requested to help plan for space.  You can sign up at the library or call them at 938-2545.  If you have any questions, call Emily d'Aulaire at 938-3612.
