Benice and Roderick are especially proud of the their collaborative work on hand painted fabrics as seen on a French style arm chair and a set of 6 dining chairs.

Benice Horowitz is a noted Stamford artist, with over 70 awards and countless shows.  Her work is well collected in Connecticut and internationally. Benice is a member for the New York Society of Women Artists, Stamford Art Association, Silvermine Artists Guild and several other statewide and regional art organizations.  For Horowitz, painting is primarily about the process itself. She is passionate about the application of paint, and moves with intuitive ease through an exuberant palette of rich color.

Roderick Shade is a well known interior designer based in the New York area, working nationwide. His work has been shown in many international shelter publications, newspapers and on television. He has been named to several top 100 designer lists and remains a design visionary. In the new year he will bring to life quality affordable designs from the ground up by building his “New Urban House.” It is Roderick’s goal to reach out to a larger demographic. As Roderick says: “We are happy to work with anyone, anywhere, no matter what the budget. It is time to demystify the design process for my clients.”

Why is it the panel for this event does not include a single advocate for gun-owners' rights? WithRead More all due respect to Chief McNamara, why does the panel no include a person who can speak to gun safety from a gun-owning civilian's perspective? ML, you claim that the assembled folks "do not offer judgements about gun ownership" but they are not including a single voice that can offer perspective on gun ownership. I have been to "education" sessions sponsored by Meg's March for Change and they are one-sided indoctrinations into gun control advocacy. >>>> I was in Hartford for the public hearings in January when both Meg and March co-founder Nancy gave their personal testimonies and they all but threatened the legislators on the panel with election day retribution for all those who did not tow the gun-control line of thinking (i.e. March and CAGV). To suggest that Meg "does not offer judgements" if fallacious at best, disingenuous at worst.
