Classic Night Reading - "Arsenic and Old Lace"

Arsenic and Old Lace - Classic Night Reading

September 27 & 28 at 8PM

Written by Joseph Kesselring in 1939, Arsenic and Old Lace ran on Broadway from 1941 to 1944, a total of 1444 performances and a legendary hit. It is a most unusual comedy - about the elderly Brewster sisters who have taken to murdering lonely old men by poisoning them with a glass of home-made elderberry wine lace with arsenic, strychnine and "just a pinch of cyanide."

Arsenic and Old Lace will be directed by Katie Sparer. The cast includes Norman Allen, Mark Basile, Gary Betsworth, Larry Greely, Mark Hamilton, Sean Hannon, Carolyn Marble, James Noble, Jo Anne Parady, Frank Piazza, Barbara Rhoads, Chilton Ryan, James Schilling and Allan Zeller.

As with all Classic Nights the performances are free and there are no reservations. Donations are greatly appreciated.
