CELEBRATE CONNECTICUT’S FINE CULINARY HISTORY

Join the
Historical Society of Easton as we celebrate Connecticut’s tradition and
contribution to good food and fine wine on Sunday January 19th at
the Easton Public Library.  Eric
D. Lehman and Amy Nawrocki, University of Bridgeport professors of English and creative
writing and co-authors of A History of Connecticut Food and A
History of Connecticut Wine: Vineyard in Your Backyard
will lead the
first lecture of the year.

Professors Lehman and Nawrocki will talk
about their explorations and stories of Connecticut’s cuisine that culminated
in their joint written venture. They will provide insight into the history
behind Connecticut’s regional cuisine and explain the recent emergence of wine
production in the state.

Both Eric D. Lehman and Amy Nawrocki are
contributors to Connecticut’s Internet Magazine – Connecticut Food & Wine.
Their books have been featured on the popular Kate Middleton show on WNPR and
on television with WNTH’s Ann Nyberg.
