Artisans & Vendors Festival - "A Celebration of Neat Stuff!"

On Saturday October 5th join the Bethel Historical Society for an Artisans & Vendor Festival (that we like to call "A Celebration of Neat Stuff") showcasing some of our favorite artists, creators and tradesfolk from the local area.

At this event you'll find the very best greetings cards, candles, photography, handmade books, felted creatures, jewelry, antiques, paper crafts, holiday ornaments, and much much more.

A partial list of vendors include:

Wendy Smith - Greeting Cards
Cathy Golankiewicz - Candles
Morna Crites-Moore - Jewelry, Textiles, Felted Creatures
Guy Gioielli - Antiques
Moonflower Studios - Jewelry
Lorraine Ballato - Jewelry
Betsy Baker - Ornaments, Cards, Boxes
Gillian Grozier - Whimsical Watercolors
Semiosis Forge - Blacksmith / Metalworks
Noetic Light Photography - Photography
Seraphemera Books - Handmade Books

Remember - when you purchase direct from an artist, you are supporting local businesses, imaginations, creativity, and so much more.

Also, this is a good time to start thinking about shopping early for the holiday season - and there's nothing like getting and receiving a one-of-a-kind handmade or hand-crafted item.

The event runs from 10am until 4pm, and will be held indoors at The Bethel Museum (in the historic 1842 2nd Meeting House) at 40 Main Street in Bethel.

Admission is free.
