Community Corner

5th Annual Community Carol Sing

On Thursday December 19, the Fifth Annual Community Carol Sing will be held in the
auditorium at Joel Barlow High School.
Featuring Joel Barlow’s Orchestra, Select Choir, Concert Band, and A
Cappella Choirs, the program will include an audience sing-along; performances
of the classic selections Sleigh Ride

and Carol of the Bells, for which any
and all are invited to play or sing along; a musical reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, featuring
Head of School Dr. Tom McMorran; and
even a visit from the jolly old guy in the red suit.

The event will be hosted by Barlow’s chapter of the Tri-M
Music Honor Society.  There is no
admission but donations are encouraged and will benefit the Food Bank of Lower
Fairfield County. Community members young and old are encouraged to attend—what
better way to get everyone into the holiday spirit? Joel Barlow High School,
