Tell Your Dad What He Means to You

Want to shine a light on all your father has done for you? Add your photo and tell Patch readers why you've got the 'World's Greatest Dad.'

It seems like it was just Mother's Day when we were getting some touching –but now Father's Day is sneaking up on us, coming this Sunday, June 17. What are you planning for Father's Day? Though Dad might love a new tool, a tie or a book, why not tell the world what your father means to you?

Add a photo of you and your dad to this gallery and write why you’ve got the 'World’s Greatest Dad' in the caption. We will be featuring new photos throughout the week leading up to Father's Day on the homepage of Patch.

Or, moms, ask your kids what 'Dad' means to them and share their answers, along with a photo of the family.

You can also tell Dad (or anyone) how much you appreciate her any time of year on Patch by posting an announcement.

It doesn't have to be Father's Day to tell the world how wonderful your dad is!

Don't have a photo or feeling camera shy? You can still add a tribute to your dad by posting in the comments!

This book really was a great read. And I bet his reading will be quite a performance too. Mr. BlackRead More is not only very, very funny, but very astute too. He's a screenwriter, so it shouldn't have surprised me to find that he is an excellent writer, but I was really impressed.
