Pajama Storytime, St. Patrick's Scavenger Hunt and More

Head over to the on Thursday, March 17 for Pajama Storytime, which begins at 6 p.m. Get comfortable and here a classic tale!

Children are in for a treat this weekend at the Ridgefield Playhouse.  Bits ‘N Pieces Puppet Theatre will present the children’s classic, The Ugly Duckling, on Saturday, March 19, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.  This performance is part of the Pepsi Children’s Series.  All seats are $15.  Call the box office at (203) 438-5795, or go on-line to www.ridgefieldplayhouse.org to purchase tickets.

The Discovery Center is hosting a fun St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt at Ballard Park on Saturday, March 19, from 1-3 p.m.  Rain date is Sunday, March 20. Visit the Keeler Tavern in Ridgefield on Sunday, March 20, to learn about life during the nineteenth century. “They Called me Lizzy” is a one-woman play about Elizabeth Keckley, a slave who purchased her freedom and ended up in the White House with President Lincoln.  Show time is 4-6 p.m. Appropriate for middle schoolers and up.
